The O’ahu Acting Studio provides training, performance opportunities, classes and coaching to O'ahu's professional, pre-professional, and emerging actors.
We host an ongoing open-enrollment studio for professional actors, as well as limited-term foundational classes for pre-professional and emerging actors.
Additionally, OAS regularly produces local theatre and film projects, which prominently feature the work of company members.
Weekly Studio

Each week, OAS actors meet in studio to work.
For the first hour, foundational exercises from a variety of acting disciplines are explored. These include the approaches of Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner, Suzuki, Bogart, Morris, Alexander, Chekhov, Jory, Ota, Spolin, Boal, and LeCoq.
The remainder of studio each week is dedicated to shared work and feedback. Presented work is in variety of styles, from
on-camera commercial auditions to fully-realized stage and screen scenes.
